Friendships have their own lifecycle. There is a natural ebb and flow to relationships. What you bring to relationships is important. I am reminded of the Dalai Lama’s quote in the Book of Joy : ‘

The best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other’.

Deep friendships are characterised by the significance you place on them, the degree of sharing and confidence in disclosing both heartfelt joyous and challenging impactful issues. Such exposure and vulnerability may only be facilitated in a few of your relationships, where the level of personal disclosure is respected and honoured. At this level of a relationship time does not have any relevance – nothing matters, only the sacred space created within the pure energy, real and true.

Be Yourself!

These words take on increasing significance in Our Third Act. It is worth remembering that we are unique beings. Each one of us is one of a kind and no one else can ‘do it’ like we do.

So connect with your passion, power and purpose and shine your unique presence out into your world.

 

Legacy Years

Today, our life span is about thirty years longer than that of our great-grandparents. Another full phase of adulthood. I believe these additional years can therefore present women in their Third Act with opportunities to influence society and the world – to make significant inroads to our individual and collective contributions. I feel that we really have a chance to make a difference, to leave a legacy to future generations. These years are not just about filling in this time with endless activity for activity’s sake. I believe that we have been given this time for a good reason. We have an opportunity to review, to take stock of our life to date….

This gift of these additional years presents us with the opportunity to develop into wholeness. A time for us to become wise and demonstrate and pass on wisdom. Finally, this time presents us with the greatest gift of all: to become, experience and live our lives from our Authentic Self. A time to live and enjoy life, giving full expression to our unique divinity – living and experiencing Who We Really Are centered in our Authentic Self.

 

Power of W: Women Thriving in Their Third Act – Book Launch

I am delighted to report that my second book is due to launch on 21 April at the Hardiman Hotel  Eyre Square , Galway (formerly Great Southern Hotel). Ms. Pauline Rohdich, ‘The Mindset Detective’, will formally launch my book.
