The importance of Goal Setting and Vision – especially in Retirement
Goal Setting and having a Vision is important.
Just because you have retired or REWIRED in post work life does not make goals and vision redundant. If anything it is highly relevant to the newest phase of your life.
The usual way for setting business goals is using the acronym SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timebound).
I have recently got to thinking about the “A” in these SMART goals. This “A” stands for Achievable – so really is that so amazing. I think not. Where is the MAGIC to them, to our heart true desires?
Why not substitute it for another “A” as in Amazing. Here we can set our True Desire (Goal) and not be limited by the lesser “achievable” version. Simply by focusing on our True Desire and holding our focus to the Vision of it we can receive inner guidance (intuition) to the next actions to take towards goal manifestation and not use logical action steps but rather follow the magic of aligned inspired action.
I would really love to get your thoughts and comments on this. Looking forward to hearing from you.
